Trumpas taip pat užsimena, kad „vienintelė tauta, kurios Kinija ir Rusija bijo ir gerbia, yra DJT [Donaldas J. Trumpas] atstatyta JAV".

Kinija griežtai pasmerkė JAV už tai, kad jos nukreipė Venesuelos naftos eksportą iš Pekino į Vašingtoną, o ne į Pekiną, po to, kai prezidentas Trumpas pristatė planą perdirbti ir parduoti iki 50 milijonų barelių Venesuelos naftos, įstrigusios šalyje dėl JAV blokados.

Kinijos užsienio reikalų ministerija: Raginame Vašingtoną užtikrinti Venesuelos prezidento ir jo žmonos saugumą, nedelsiant juos paleisti ir išspręsti problemą dialogu.
