China launched a pair of Beidou-3 navigation satellites at 01:48 UTC today from Xichang, using a Long March 3B/YZ-1 to put the sats into medium Earth orbit. These are the 33rd and 34th satellites of China's Beidou system, a rival to GPS. China 21/21 in orbital launches in 2018
